Mianyang Town: Mianyang Town is situated at the southernmost tip of Wuhua County, adjacent to Jiexi County, with a total jurisdictional area of 254 square kilometers and located 45 kilometers from the county seat. In September 1958, the Mianyang Commune was established; in October 1983, it was restructured as a district; and in March 1986, it was reorganized into a town, which remains to this day. In 2004, during the consolidation of towns and townships, the former Qiaojianq Town was merged into Mianyang Town. Currently, the town has 260,000 mu of mountainous land, 46,000 mu of arable land, and governs 25 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a population of 16,090 households and 88,447 people, including 84,315 agricultural residents.
