Niuyaling Pottery Kiln
The Niuyaling Pottery Kiln is located in Niuyaling, Gonghe Village, Shejiang Town, Meixian District. Dating back to the Zhou Dynasty, it is a beehive-shaped kiln with a remaining length of 1.9 meters, a remaining height of 0.6 meters, and a width of 0.55 meters. The interior contains charcoal ash and fired clay. Surrounding the kiln are numerous stamped pottery fragments featuring decorative patterns such as kui-dragon motifs, thundercloud patterns, comb-stitch patterns, and grid patterns, predominantly from jars. The pottery was fired at high temperatures, resulting in a hard texture.
