Qunfeng Dafu Mansion is located in Qunfeng Village, Bingcun Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City.

Qunfeng Dafu Mansion was originally built in the third year of the Hongzhi reign during the Ming Dynasty (1490 AD), and has a history of over 500 years. It is grand in scale and majestic in presence. Stretching 87 meters from north to south and over 120 meters from east to west, the entire structure consists of four courtyards, three halls, eight wings, and three enclosed areas, resembling a massive ancient settlement. It is also the only Hakka enclosed roundhouse included in the prestigious tome Traditional Chinese Residential Architecture published by the Architectural Society of China.

Like other Hakka enclosed houses, Qunfeng Dafu Mansion is composed of five parts: the main hall, wing rooms, enclosing walls, a raised earth platform, and a pond. Each section serves a specific function. The central area is the main hall, used for ancestor worship, celebrations, and hosting guests. It is imposing and divided into upper, middle, and lower halls, along with 48 rooms. The upper hall is the tallest, and the middle hall is the largest, capable of accommodating 20 banquet tables. On either side are four rows of wing rooms, plus a semi-circular rear enclosing wall totaling over 390 rooms and nearly 100 auxiliary spaces, mainly used as bedrooms, kitchens, pigsties, chicken coops, toilets, and storage rooms.

In front of the enclosing wall is a rectangular threshing ground and a semi-circular pond. The threshing ground is used for drying grain, relaxing, and other activities, while the pond serves functions such as water storage, fish farming, fire prevention, and drought mitigation. Behind the main hall and in front of the three enclosing walls lies a semi-circular raised earth platform, which complements the pond in front. The entire building faces south with a central axis, featuring symmetrical parallel sides (though the right section was later expanded with a one- or two-story building, disrupting the overall layout). The structure gradually rises from front to back, and the combination of the rear enclosing walls and the front pond gives the building an oval shape. Inside, sky streets, alleys, and corridors connect like veins, extending in all directions, creating a spectacular sight.

In 2012, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Guangdong Province.
