Blue Sky Mongolian Camp Tourism Area

The Blue Sky Mongolian Camp Tourism Area is located in Chahar Right Rear Banner, Ulanqab City, covering an area of nearly 20,000 mu, with a built-up area of 280,000 square meters. National Highway 208 runs along the western side of the scenic area. It is 11 kilometers from the banner government seat, Baiyinchagan Town, and 60 kilometers from Jining.

The region where the Blue Sky Mongolian Camp Tourism Area is located features a temperate semi-arid continental monsoon climate, characterized by long sunshine hours and relatively low temperatures. According to data, during the summer months, the average temperature here is 7°C lower than in Beijing and 3–4°C lower than in Datong and Hohhot. The climate is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for summer retreats. The terrain is open and flat, with lush water and grass. White yurts dot the green grasslands, vividly showcasing the beautiful scene of “vast sky, boundless land, and herds of cattle and sheep seen when the wind blows the grass low.”

The Blue Sky Mongolian Camp features several tourism functional areas, including a living area, villa area, activity area, sculpture area, and Mongolian camp area. There is a square that can accommodate over 1,500 people, a Mongolian-style restaurant that can serve 400 diners, 40 traditional Mongolian yurts, 15 modern yurts, three villas, and can host over 500 guests for accommodation at the same time.
