Łazienki Park
Introduction Łazienki Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Poland, designed in the English landscape style. It was originally the villa of Stanisław August Poniatowski, the last king of Poland (1766–1795). The park features a blend of palaces, pavilions, ponds, and lawns, as well as a rose garden and an orange grove. The most famous waterside palace — the Palace on the Isle — is majestic and splendidly ornate. Originally a royal residence, it now serves as one of the state guesthouses. The central circular hall of the palace has a chandelier hanging from the dome, with each surrounding building decorated in a distinctive style. As the park houses a statue of Chopin, it is also referred to by Chinese visitors as "Chopin Park."
