The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge (Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge), also known as the Rainbow Bridge, has a red structure that resembles a rainbow stretching across the great gorge. This bridge is situated in Luxembourg City in the southern part of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Built in 1966, it is 355 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 85 meters high. Its steel framework gives it a majestic and imposing appearance.

The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge is a crossing on National Route 51 (N51) over the Alzette River, connecting Avenue John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Kirchberg with Boulevard Robert Schuman in Limpertsberg.

Next to the Charlotte Bridge stands a statue of Grand Duchess Charlotte, who lived to the age of 90 and ruled Luxembourg for nearly 50 years. Having endured the hardships of both World War I and World War II, she led her people with unwavering resolve through arduous struggles. The affection the public holds for her is reflected not only in the heroic expression on the statue’s face but also in the inscription on its pedestal, written in French: “We love you.”
