A total of 28 countries are included in the initial launch of the iPhone 7, including the United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and Taiwan. The announced prices are USD 649 for the iPhone 7 and USD 769 for the iPhone 7 PLUS, with storage options of 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB for the iPhone 7, and 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB for the iPhone 7 PLUS. Pre-orders open on September 9, with the official launch on September 16.

In July, it was also reported that Apple is officially setting up its own retail store, the Apple Store, in Taiwan. It is currently expected to be located in the Xinyi District, which sees a large number of international tourists, with rumors suggesting the most likely spot is Taipei 101. The exact location still needs to be confirmed by the official.
