Luxembourg City Hall (Luxembourg City Hall) is located in southern Luxembourg and serves as the private office of the Mayor of Luxembourg City. This two-story building is in the neoclassical style. Completed in 1838, unknowing tourists who cannot read French might mistake the signage for that of a resort hotel, when in fact this place only receives foreign heads of state. Major national and even European celebrations are sometimes held here. Wilhelmsplatz (Wilhelm Square) is located to the southwest of the building.
