Scarborough is a town on the North Sea coast of North Yorkshire, England, and one of the largest settlements in the county. It is the largest seaside resort on the North Yorkshire coast.

Scarborough is Britain’s first seaside resort, having welcomed visitors more than 360 years ago, and remains a lively and cheerful seaside town. A rugged headland separates the safe sandy beaches of South Bay and North Bay, atop which stands the historic Scarborough Castle. At the foot of the castle lies a picturesque harbor where boats are moored. The safe beaches, cliff-tops, and bustling town center are all within easy reach via the famous Victorian cliff tramway. It’s an ideal destination for families.
