Fraumünster Church
Introduction: The Fraumünster Church, a 13th-century towered building, was originally the church of the convent for noblewomen in Zurich. It was donated in 853 by King Louis the German of Germany. One of its most famous features is the stained-glass window on the altar, created by Marc Chagall in 1970, which is world-renowned. Transportation: Take tram lines 2 or 4 to Helmhaus station, or tram lines 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13 to Paradeplatz. Ticket/Opening Hours: Open from 9:00–18:00 from May to September, and 10:00–17:00 from October to April (the following year).
