The Horqin Right Wing Front Banner Museum is a patriotic education base.

The Horqin Right Wing Front Banner Museum is a national third-grade museum and a patriotic education base at both the league and banner levels. It is located in Horqin Town, Horqin Right Wing Front Banner, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia. The museum was established in 2008, with a construction area of 3,200 square meters. It is a comprehensive museum that promotes the nation’s outstanding historical culture and showcases the administrative evolution and the living history of people from all ethnic groups in the Horqin Right Wing Front Banner. In 2012, the exhibition was redesigned with the theme “Through the Storms of Time, A New Era Dawns,” focusing on three main sections: “Pillar of the Greater Khingan” (the regional historical evolution over six thousand years before the establishment of the banner), “Shield of the Northern Frontier” (the regional historical evolution over six thousand years before the establishment of the banner), and “Renewed Splendor” (the brilliant development achievements over sixty years since the founding of New China), comprehensively presenting the long-term local development history of the Horqin Right Wing Front Banner. The museum houses 5,030 cultural relics of diverse types, featuring many rare and unique treasures. Among them, artifacts from the Warring States Period, as well as the Liao and Jin Dynasties, are the most representative. Notable items include a bronze helmet from the Warring States Period, a chicken-head pot from the Liao and Jin Dynasties, a bronze sculpture of a human-faced stag from the Mongol Empire period, and a large blue-and-white porcelain tray with mountain-water and pavilion designs from the Qing Dynasty, all of which enjoy high renown both within and outside the region. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall displays handmade Mongolian robes from the Ulan Muda Grassland and handwritten Mongolian medical texts, which are representative of intangible cultural heritage preservation and protection efforts across the autonomous region and even the whole country, holding significant historical, cultural, and artistic value. Adhering to the philosophy of “people-oriented, culture for the people” and the mission of “passing on culture, sharing civilization,” the Horqin Right Wing Front Banner Museum warmly welcomes people from all walks of life to visit, engage with, and cherish the museum.
