Tours Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tours, located in the city of Tours, the capital of the Indre-et-Loire department in France. It is one of the city’s most famous attractions.

The cathedral was constructed between 1170 and 1547 and is dedicated to Saint Gatianus, the first bishop of Tours. Initially, it was situated at the southern end of the bridge that crossed the Loire River on the route from Paris to southwestern France. The cathedral is 97 meters long and 28 meters wide, with a bell tower that rises 87 meters high. It was classified as a historical monument in France in 1862. Its exterior is remarkably majestic, showcasing a variety of French religious architectural styles from the 13th to the 15th century. For example, the bell tower piers feature Romanesque architecture, the overall decoration is in the Gothic style, and the top of its spire reflects the Renaissance style.
