Casa Loma is a striking landmark located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built in the early 20th century by Canadian millionaire Sir Henry Pellatt, taking nearly three years and 300 workers to complete, with an investment of 3.5 million Canadian dollars at the time. It is a mock medieval castle that draws on the essence of European medieval fortresses, embodying the elegance and grandeur of a castle.

With 98 rooms, each exquisitely decorated and furnished with luxurious pieces, Casa Loma was the largest private residence in Canada at the time, earning it the title of "the largest private luxury home in North America." In addition to the rooms, the estate also features an elevator, nine telephones, an oven large enough to roast an entire ox, secret passageways, as well as an unfinished bowling alley and indoor swimming pool. Just imagine what it would be like to live in such a lavish and convenient home? Sadly, just ten years after Sir Henry Pellatt moved in, the outbreak of World War I led to his bankruptcy, forcing the castle to be sold at auction.

Thanks to its beauty and elegance, Casa Loma has become a popular filming location for many movies, often stealing the spotlight on screen. Films such as *X-Men*, *Chicago*, *The Tuxedo*, *Warehouse 13*, and *The Boy Who Could Fly* were all shot here.
