Naryn
A city in central Kyrgyzstan and the capital of Naryn Region. Located on the left bank of the Naryn River at the foot of the Alamedin Ridge, it sits at an altitude of 2,037 meters and has a population of approximately 26,000. Established as a city in 1927, it serves as the main economic and cultural hub of the Naryn Basin. The local industry is primarily focused on food processing, including meat and dairy processing plants and a dairy factory, as well as machinery and garment factories.
