Introduction: More than ten thousand American and Filipino soldiers who died during World War II are buried here. Pure white crosses stand quietly on lush green lawns, surrounded by dense acacia trees. The walls of the memorial hall are inscribed with the names and birthplaces of the fallen soldiers, along with illustrated explanations of the fierce battles that took place.
