Introduction The Marine Drive that encircles Back Bay has always been one of the most coveted places. India calls Mumbai the “Queen of Indian cities,” and the world-famous Marine Drive is the “Queen’s Necklace.” Built in 1920 and facing the Arabian Sea, it resembles a crescent moon nestled along the beautiful beach. The boulevard features completely different scenes on either side: one side is lined with clusters of buildings ranging from twenty to thirty stories high, forming an artificial cliffside; the other side is the vast Arabian Sea, shimmering with waves. This area is a bustling commercial district, with shops and restaurants standing shoulder to shoulder, and street vendors everywhere. Marine Drive is a perfect spot for leisure, and its several-kilometer-long seafront promenade attracts endless streams of people. Every evening, crowds flock here to enjoy the cool breeze while taking in the unique charm of Mumbai Bay.
