Tambun Hot Springs is located in the eastern part of Ipoh, Perak, and takes about a 45-minute drive to reach. It is one of the most attractive attractions in Perak. The hot spring water is rich in beneficial minerals that help protect the heart, improve blood circulation, and treat skin diseases.

Due to geothermal activity, the river here is filled with warm water, and underground hot springs continuously bubble up from the riverbed. The hot spring water in the river is extremely hot and not suitable for direct bathing. Therefore, there are specially prepared hot spring pools mixed with cool water. These pools have a more suitable temperature for soaking, ranging between 40 to 50 degrees Celsius. Many visitors enjoy digging out the black mud from the bottom of the pool to smear on their faces, which is said to have excellent beauty benefits. Next to the hot spring pools, there are several natural hot spring wells where you can place eggs or shellfish. After about 10 minutes, they’re ready to eat — a unique experience.

Tambun Hot Springs is open daily from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is bustling with visitors every day.
