Jinjiang Waterfall is located near Ipoh City in Perak, about 18 kilometers from Ipoh. Its Malay name means “waterfall cascading down,” which vividly describes its appearance—just as the name suggests.

Jinjiang Waterfall is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Malaysia. As a multi-tiered waterfall, it forms numerous pools, which serve as great spots for swimming and playing. With a height of approximately 800 meters, it is one of the tallest waterfalls in Malaysia. Standing at the base of the waterfall, watching the rushing waters flow downward and listening to the endless sound of the falls, you feel as if you've been completely refreshed. The area at the bottom of the waterfall is lush with trees, filled with birdsong and floral scents. There is also an orchid garden where visitors can admire the flowers. Occasionally, you might find fellow Malays setting up camps, having picnics, and barbecuing downstream—the aroma of their grilled food is simply irresistible.

It’s also quite easy to climb up to the upper reaches of the waterfall to take in the full view. By following the steps uphill, you’ll reach the top, where the waterfall resembles a white ribbon hanging in the mountains—graceful and delightful to the eye.
