Pai Shan Miao Village

Pai Shan Miao Village is located behind Doi Suthep Mountain. Originally a Miao ethnic village, it has now been developed into a tourist area.

The villagers still retain their traditional ethnic costumes and lifestyle, and some of the Miao people speak Mandarin Chinese. The village houses an ethnic minority museum set in a thatched cottage with Miao-style architecture, showcasing the clothing, farming tools, and daily necessities of the Miao people.

The Miao are one of the six current hill tribes in northern Thailand. The Miao people in northern Thailand make a living through farming, and their traditional clothing is black.
