Situated at 254, Tuhwa-dong Park Loop Road, Dalseo District, picturesque Daegu Metropolitan City, South Korea, Daegu Tuhwa Park was officially opened in 1977. It serves as a multifunctional park that combines leisure, sports, and cultural tourism. Spanning around 163,965 square meters, the park features not only a pleasant environment and complete recreational facilities, but also a cultural arts center equipped with performance venues such as an auditorium, exhibition hall, and open-air stage, where a variety of performances and exhibitions are frequently held.

The park is home to 150,000 trees of 133 different species, with colorful flowers blooming in all four seasons. Especially popular is the fountain at Seongdangjeong Pond, making it a great summer retreat from the heat. Major facilities and attractions within the park include soccer fields, baseball fields, multi-purpose sports grounds, a swimming pool, tennis courts, roller skating rinks, a golf driving range, a judo gym, as well as the Tuhwa Library, Sculpture Park, Outdoor Music Theater, Seongdangjeong Five-Color Fountain, Daesung Temple, Geumryong Temple, and the Wall Spring Waterfall. With rich natural landscapes and a strong cultural atmosphere, it is a beloved sports and leisure park among the citizens of Daegu.
