It is a park designed to learn from the painful lessons of the Daegu subway fire on February 18 and to enhance citizens' safety awareness through various experiential educational programs. Through the dissemination of safety knowledge and explanations on how to eliminate potential hazards, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of public safety.

Daegu Citizens' Safety Theme Park features various zones including the Subway Safety Exhibition Hall, Mountain Safety Exhibition Hall, Earthquake Safety Exhibition Hall, and Future Safety Video Hall. The Subway Safety Exhibition Hall has three floors and is a unique space where visitors can experience subway safety. Here, one can learn more about natural disasters, mountain safety, earthquakes, fires, emergency measures, and other common safety knowledge. Additionally, in the Future Safety Video Hall, 3D wide-screen videos depict how future cities might respond to sudden disasters, showcasing the diverse future development trends of 119 emergency response centers. The Disaster Prevention Future Hall recreates information related to the February 18 subway accident and informs visitors on how to guard against unknown safety hazards.
