Jeonju Hanok Village is located in the areas of Pungnam-dong and Hawng-dong in Jeonju, featuring over 800 traditional Korean hanok houses. Nestled within the ever-changing modern city, Jeonju Hanok Village is renowned for preserving its traditional appearance to this day. The traditional beauty of Jeonju Hanok Village is especially reflected in the curved eaves of the hanok. The upward-curving eave corners are both a characteristic feature of hanok and the essence of traditional Korean dance. Hanok are generally divided into two main parts: the inner room (Anchae) and the guest room (Sarangchae).
