The Jeonju Traditional Culture Center is a multifaceted cultural space where you can observe and experience a variety of traditional cultures. This center, which regularly stages performances of pansori, folk songs, and traditional dances, consists of a permanent performance hall, a traditional restaurant, a traditional wedding hall, and more. Transportation guide: ■ Take bus 118 (departing from Jeonju Station, bound for Statistics Office, at 06:10, 09:17, 12:57), 45, 511, 515, 551 (local), 551 (seated), 552, or 60 from Jeonju Station heading toward “Statistics Office” or “Sam-san-ri,” and get off at the Museum (approximately 1 hour). ■ From the bus terminal (walk 5–10 minutes from the Five-Way Intersection toward Tonggye Road, located at the old fountain intersection), take bus 118 (departing from Jeonju Station, bound for Statistics Office, at 06:10, 09:17, 12:57), 354, 384, 45, 554, 57, 61, 644, 684, 692, or 694 heading toward “Statistics Office,” “Geum-gu,” or “Sam-san-ri,” and get off at the Museum (approximately 45 minutes). ■ By taxi: It takes about 30 minutes from the bus terminal to Statistics Office or Geum-gu, and about 40 minutes from the train station. ■ Get off at the “National Jeonju Museum” stop, then walk about 5 minutes along the road between the gas stations to reach the site across from the National Jeonju Museum.
