Qiang’an Calligraphy Art Museum

Established in 1995, the Qiang’an Calligraphy Art Museum is a specialized calligraphy exhibition hall located within Jeonju Hanok Village, showcasing over a thousand works by celebrated calligraphers including Kim Jeong-hui (1786–1856, painter, calligrapher, and scholar), Lee Sam-man (1770–1845, calligrapher), Kim Hong-do (1745–?, painter), and Ding Ruoyong (1762–1836, scholar). The museum features exhibition rooms and seminar rooms, covering a total area of 872㎡, with a collection of 1,162 items. Transportation: From Jeonju Express Bus Terminal & Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal – When departing from Jeonju Express Bus Terminal, get off in front of Korea National Open University; when departing from Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal, take city buses No. 211, 221, 231, 251, 220, 229, 241, 291, 501, 502, or 700 heading to Namseong Market from the Geumam Rotary and get off at Jeondong Catholic Church Station (20–30 minutes). Then take a taxi for about 5 minutes. From Jeonju Station – Take city buses No. 118, 119, 211, 221, 231, or 241 heading to Riviera Hotel and get off at Jeondong Catholic Church Station (20–30 minutes). Then walk for 10–15 minutes.
