Deokjin Park

Deokjin Park is a park built around Deokjin Lake, famous for its lotus flowers that cover the lake in July and August, with an annual dedicated lotus festival held during this time.

The lotus flowers, which grow as tall as a person, are abundant and completely blanket one side of the lake, leaving visitors in awe. There is also a suspension bridge over the lake, offering breathtaking views of the lotuses from above.

In addition, the fountain performances by the lake are also worth seeing. Transportation guide: 1. Jeonju Express Bus Terminal and Jeonju Suburban Bus Terminal: When departing from Jeonju Express Bus Terminal, get off in front of Korea National Open University; when departing from Jeonju Suburban Bus Terminal, take bus No. 223, 333, 335-1, 555 (standard bus) or No. 26-1, 47 (city bus) at Gimam Rotary, a 10-minute ride. 2. Jeonju Station: Cross the street and take city bus No. 21, 109, 111, 113-1, 142 to Deokjin Park, a 15-minute ride.
