Akaroa
Introduction Akaroa is located on Banks Peninsula and was the site of the first French settlement. To this day, its buildings, street names, and cafés all retain a strong French character. It is recommended to take a ride on the “Canterbury Cat” catamaran cruise to enjoy Hector’s dolphins and the picturesque scenery of Akaroa Harbour.
