The New Zealand Air Force Museum, also known as the "Royal New Zealand Air Force Museum," is located in Christchurch, New Zealand, on the site of Wigram—the first operational base of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Opened in 1987, it is the most significant museum dedicated to the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

The museum's mission is to preserve and showcase the history of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, offering visitors opportunities to commemorate, be inspired, learn, and have fun. As a result, its collection is rich and diverse. Exhibits include aircraft, military aviation artifacts & accessories, aircraft engines, memorabilia, artwork, military uniforms, pistols, medals, weapons, posters, documents, and even wedding dresses made from parachute silk, some of which date back to World War I. A wide variety of aircraft are displayed throughout the museum—on the ground and hanging from the ceiling—creating a veritable world of planes. Among the highlights are 28 classic fighter planes. In addition, visitors can experience flying through simulators and get a taste of life in the air force, making it highly appealing to children.
