Waiheke Island, also known as "Jiliu Island," is an island located in the Hauraki Gulf of Auckland, New Zealand. It is approximately 17.7 kilometers from Auckland and covers an area of about 90 square kilometers. Though not very large, it is a captivating and mysterious little island.
