Orewa

The town of Orewa (Orewa) is located just north of Auckland’s Auckland Harbour Bridge, a mere half-hour drive away, and stretches from a magnificent three-kilometre beachfront inland. It’s an excellent place if you enjoy swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, or kitesurfing. For the best coastal views, there’s no better way than wandering along the Millennium Walkway. Beyond the beach, possible activities include harbour golf, wine tours, local garden walks, bowling, cycling, mini-golf, going to the movies, horseback riding, miniature race cars, indoor skating, and spa baths.
