　Madame Tussauds is one of the world’s premier wax museums, featuring wax figures of numerous world celebrities, among which the Chamber of Horrors is the most famous. The entire museum consists of three floors and a basement, divided into four exhibition levels. The first floor is a newly opened exhibition hall in 1966. The second floor lobby displays wax figures of contemporary political figures from around the world, as well as modern British monarchs and members of the royal family. The third floor features three exhibition zones: “Dramatic Scenes,” “The Greenhouse,” and “Heroes.” The top floor is the wax figure workshop. The wax figures at Madame Tussauds are often so lifelike that they are hard to distinguish from real people. The museum places wax figures in areas where visitors walk through, often creating surprising and amusing effects. It is a great place for teenagers to visit.

Madame Tussaud (1761–1850) was an outstanding French artist renowned for making wax figures. She learned the craft of wax modeling from a doctor as a child, and her breakthrough work was a wax figure of the French writer Voltaire. In 1835, at the age of 74, she established a permanent exhibition venue on Baker Street in London.
