Introduction

The Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences is a British Edwardian-style building. With a medical theme, it is located in the area between Sheung Wan and Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island, established in 1996. It uses documents and physical exhibits to introduce the history of medical and academic development in Hong Kong since its founding as a colony. Currently, the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences mainly displays a variety of different medical instruments, introduces Hong Kong's medical hygiene and nursing work, the situation of the 19th-century plague in Hong Kong, laboratory demonstrations, as well as the introduction and display of Chinese herbal medicine. In addition, the museum also features exhibition halls that introduce the history of Alice Memorial Hospital and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Transportation
