The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre is an art development centre under the Art Promotion Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong. Located on the western side of Hong Kong Park in Admiralty, Hong Kong Island, it serves as a place where visual artists can observe, learn from, and exchange ideas to develop their creative work.

The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre was formerly the Cassels Block of the old Victoria Barracks, built around 1900 as married quarters for military personnel. The Cassels Block is a three-storey building in the Edwardian Classical Revival style. The structure features a unique design with four stepped sections to accommodate the steep slope of the land — a rare sight in Hong Kong. Originally, both the east and west facades had arcaded colonnades, but these have since been enclosed with glass windows to increase usable floor space. The brick exterior has now been painted in grey and pink, making it quite eye-catching. The Cassels Block has been listed as a Grade I Historic Building in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre was officially opened on 28 April 1992 and serves as a dedicated facility for the study and practice of three major art forms: ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking. The centre houses nine art studios, one lecture theatre, one exhibition hall, and one multi-purpose activity room. It is equipped with high-quality, advanced facilities to support artistic creation and a variety of art activities. It is a great destination for art-loving visitors.
