Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited Exhibition Hall

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited Exhibition Hall (Exchange Exhibition Hall), located on the first floor of Tower 1 and Tower 2 of Exchange Square in Central, Hong Kong, was opened on April 26, 2006, together with the new trading hall. It officially opened to the public on May 15 of the same year. However, after renovation at the end of February 2013, the exhibition hall is no longer open to the general public and is currently only accessible to group visits.

The exhibition hall uses display panels and actual objects to give a detailed introduction to the history of Hong Kong’s exchanges and clearing houses, the securities and derivatives markets in Hong Kong, the products and services of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, as well as the development of Hong Kong’s financial market. The venue is divided into an educational area featuring thematic exhibitions, an interactive information area providing market data, and a service counter selling gifts and souvenirs.

Visitors can view the operations of the trading hall through the glass windows of the exhibition hall, and the trading counters and computers formerly used in the old trading hall are also displayed as physical exhibits. The exchange meeting room inside the hall has 200 seats and can be used to host press conferences, annual general meetings, and seminars.
