The Fung Ping Shan Museum serves as a base for patriotic education.

The Fung Ping Shan Museum is affiliated with the University of Hong Kong and is a specialized museum dedicated to the collection of Chinese cultural relics and art. It was established and opened to the public in 1953.

The Fung Ping Shan Museum is a two-story fan-shaped red brick building, completed in 1932. This structure was funded and donated to the University of Hong Kong by Mr. Fung Ping Shan. The museum covers a construction area of 1,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of approximately 670 square meters.

The Fung Ping Shan Museum currently houses a collection of over 1,600 items, including ceramics, bronzes, calligraphy and paintings, oracle bones, jade artifacts, and lacquerware. These collections are currently displayed in the exhibition hall on the second floor.

Since its establishment, the museum has hosted numerous art exhibitions, many of which were co-organized with mainland Chinese cultural relics and museums institutions. These events have promoted cooperation and exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong in the field of cultural relics. To enhance international cultural exchange, the museum has also held multiple exhibitions with relevant foreign institutions.

In addition to organizing various exhibitions, the Fung Ping Shan Museum also provides venues and cultural relics specimens for teaching and research activities.
