Zhangmaying Ancient City Ruins is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

Era: Warring States Period, Western Han Dynasty

Address: Northwest of Zhang- Village, Jingping Town, Pingshu District

The ancient city is higher in the north and lower in the south, built along the terrain. It is over 600 meters long from north to south and over 380 meters wide from east to west. The city wall remains as earthen ridges about 3–4 meters high. The best-preserved section is the southeast corner, where the city wall stands about 6.8 meters high and the barbican is 30 meters on each side. In 1987, 1990, and 1992, three on-site surveys of the ancient city were conducted, during which a large number of pottery fragments such as dou (food vessels) and jars from the Warring States Period, as well as fragments of pottery jars and pots from the Western Han Dynasty, were discovered, along with a small number of stone axes and stone knives.
