Huairen Pagoda

Huairen Pagoda is located next to the highway toll station, adjacent to Fenghuo Park, and is the first iconic structure upon entering Huairen County via the Er’guang Expressway. The pagoda covers an area of 12 mu, started construction in June 2012, and was completed in June 2013.

It is modeled after the Great White Pagoda of Mount Wutai. The base is square-shaped, resting on three tiers of Sumeru pedestals, with the outer terrace having a circumference of 165 meters. The pagoda stands 61.6 meters tall in total, with a reinforced concrete structure as its main body and an exterior supported by shaped steel and clad in dry-hung stone.

The pagoda’s finial is forged from copper plates into a round disk topped with a precious vase. The disk has a circumference of 26 meters, and the finial rises over 6 meters. The edge of the disk is adorned with 36 hanging eaves, each holding 3 copper bells, totaling 108 bells. When the wind blows, the bells chime melodiously.

The entire pagoda is pure white in color. Its body resembles an alms bowl, tapering from the base to the top, then narrowing and widening again, alternating between thick and thin sections with a mix of square and rounded forms, creating an elegant shape.
