In the Sawuer Mountain of Jeminay County, there are rock carvings — artistic treasures left on stone walls by ancient nomadic peoples. On the cliff surfaces of the Takexi Rock Carving Cluster, located on the Musa Island Ice Mountain in the Sawuer Mountain range, one can see not only camels, antelopes, and shepherds, but also surprisingly animals that live in tropical rainforests, such as lions, lizards, and rhinoceroses. It is puzzling how these animals, which should only exist in tropical regions, are depicted in the rock carvings of a cold-climate area.
