The scenery of the Toshigan River Valley is like a kaleidoscope, ever-changing and full of variety. In early February, as auspicious snow falls, the world is draped in a silver blanket. When summer arrives, the fields and woods along both banks awaken — poplars stand tall and graceful, willows sway elegantly, and vitality abounds both within and beyond the city. In golden autumn, along the riverbanks, golden wheat waves roll, apple orchards are fragrant with ripe fruit, and everywhere presents a bountiful harvest scene. When severe winter comes, the land is covered in thick snow, and the Toshigan River freezes over, its waters stilled.

In this season when all plants wither, only the sea buckthorn stands proudly along the riverbanks. Its berries, like pearls and agates, glow a fiery red, set off beautifully against the white snow, creating a breathtaking and indescribable sight.
