The Mingyaole Ancient Battlefield is located in Mingyaole Village, Mushi Township, northwest of Shufu County, Kashgar City, 8 kilometers from Mingyaole Village and 60 kilometers from Kashgar City. It is one of the sites showcasing ancient Chinese battlefields and their historical development.

This was the site where, in the third year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, General Liu Jintang led his forces to completely wipe out the remaining forces of the Agubai bandits, bringing the entire southern Xinjiang region back under Chinese control. Later, the Qing government erected a victory stele here, the original of which is now preserved in the Autonomous Region Museum. In summer, this area serves as an excellent summer retreat and also plays an important role in promoting patriotism and safeguarding national unity.
