The Changji Hui Ethnic Snack Street, with a total investment of 45 million yuan and covering an area of 25.3 acres, was recently recognized by the China Cuisine Association as a "Famous Chinese Hui Ethnic Snack Street." The street features six classic Chinese-style buildings, a "Hua'er" opera stage, and a 34-meter-high observation tower, all exuding strong regional and Islamic architectural styles. Out of the 250 merchants that applied to set up shop, only one-third were selected to stay—most of them have been awarded titles such as China’s Famous Snacks, China’s Famous Dishes, or China’s Famous Food Establishments, enjoying widespread renown.
