Changji Huajingyuan

Changji Huajingyuan — Changji Huajingyuan Ecotourism Co., Ltd. is one of the subsidiaries of Xinjiang Huaxing Investment Group Co., Ltd. The company is committed to protecting ecological resources, preserving wildlife, restoring and landscaping desert forests and vegetation, promoting the culture of Laolong River, and raising environmental awareness among the public. At the same time, it aims to create economic benefits from these resources and reinvest those benefits into the conservation and restoration of the desert. By integrating tourism development with desert ecological construction, the company has invested in the establishment of the Huajingyuan Ecotourism and Sightseeing Base on the southern edge of the Gurbantünggüt Desert. The sightseeing base is located 25 kilometers from downtown Changji and encompasses six major scenic areas: a modern agricultural sightseeing park, a tamarisk garden, a populus euphratica valley, a saxaul garden, a hunting ground, and a desert park. These scenic zones span 58 kilometers from north to south and 15 kilometers from east to west, covering a total planned area of 569.7 square kilometers. The base integrates a flower viewing area, a nursery zone, a seed breeding area, an artificial lake, a fishing park, a frisbee shooting range, a hunting ground, a desert-themed cultural park, a training center, an entertainment center, a CS combat training base, as well as hotel and catering services. It showcases breathtaking scenery that is both majestic and vibrant, making it an ideal destination for large-scale modern agricultural and ecotourism. It serves as a comprehensive venue for science education, outdoor hiking, spiritual enrichment, nature experiences, business training, event organization, conference hosting, and leisure vacations. In 2007, it was awarded the title of National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site.
