Huaxing Ecological Tourism Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Huaxing Ecological Tourism Scenic Area (hereinafter referred to as the "Scenic Area") is located within the Changji National Agricultural Science and Technology Park, 9 kilometers north of Daxiqu Town in Changji City, 17 kilometers from downtown Changji, and 48 kilometers from downtown Urumqi, enjoying highly convenient transportation.

The total area of Huaxing Ecological Tourism Scenic Area in Changji covers 22,000 mu, including a core scenic zone of 2,000 mu. The Scenic Area is an oasis built on the Gobi Desert, a green civilization reclaimed from the desert, featuring over a hundred varieties of trees with a total of more than one million plants. It is divided into six functional zones: ecological tourism, outdoor training, science education, modern agriculture, seedling demonstration, and high-quality breed cultivation. The area offers leisure activities such as fruit and vegetable picking, fishing, camping, outdoor training, drive-in cinemas, and agricultural, forestry, and animal husbandry science tours. The Scenic Area's hotel facilities are fully equipped, and its Halal restaurant can accommodate up to 300 diners at once. Guest rooms come in various types, including team rooms, standard rooms, business rooms, and luxury suites. The Scenic Area also houses a fully functional outdoor training center, complete with a business training center and large-scale high-altitude, mid-altitude, and water-based training equipment. There are professional indoor venues for badminton, table tennis, and billiards, as well as outdoor basketball and tennis courts and a CS combat training base. Other attractions include fruit and vegetable picking areas, Huaxing Lake, fishing gardens, flower viewing zones, nursery plant gathering areas, and seed breeding zones, meeting visitors' needs for sightseeing, leisure, and entertainment.

After seven years of unremitting effort, the Scenic Area has been honored with multiple awards, including “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site,” “National AAA-Level Tourist Attraction,” “Autonomous Region Youth Science and Technology Education Base,” “Autonomous Region Four-Star Agritainment,” “Changji Prefecture Outstanding Cooperative Unit for Supporting Youth Off-Campus Education,” “Changji Prefecture Advanced Unit in Employment Placement,” and “Top Ten Tourism Enterprises in Changji City for 2012 and 2013.”
