Overview of Tiandi Garden in Jimusaer County

Established in 2008, with a total construction area of 24 hectares, Tiandi Garden is a geological culture park along the Xisha River that showcases and miniaturizes 15 major and 20 minor types of landforms as well as astronomical knowledge. It features 26 unique scenic spots and over 50 creative ideas, and is also known as “Tiandi Garden.” It is the first theme park in the entire Xinjiang region with an “astronomy and geology” theme, and is also one of the larger-scale ecological cultural theme parks in the region. Tiandi Garden consists of three zones: the Planetary Culture Zone, the Geological Culture Zone, and the Astronomical Culture Zone. The inner Geological Culture Zone brings together 15 major and 20 minor types of landforms. These include karst landforms such as surface stone forest landforms and underground cave landforms, as well as Danxia landforms, Yardang landforms, Flaming Mountain landforms, loess landforms, Gobi desert landforms, coastal erosion landforms, coconut palm coastlines, tropical rainforests, cracked earth landforms, volcanic landforms, terraced field landforms, fish-scale rock landforms, U-shaped granite landforms, and the unique Wensu Grand Canyon landform—each recreating the natural features of the earth. The outer area consists of the Planetary Culture Zone and the Astronomical Culture Zone. The Planetary Culture Zone allows visitors to experience the charm of the three major planets in the Milky Way through the Sun Square, Earth Square, and Moon Square. The Astronomical Culture Zone showcases astronomical knowledge and the mysteries of the universe. It includes the South Entrance Square, Noah’s Ark Square, Dock Square, Maze, Ship-Shaped Dock Square, Unsolved Mystery Square, and Cliff Carving Square. Through a fascinating science education perspective, visitors can explore the vastness of time and space, and quietly observe the mysteries and evolution of the universe. This unique destination integrates science education, eco-leisure, sightseeing, and specialty entertainment. Its design is fluid, impactful, and awe-inspiring. With ecology as its foundation, it educates through the environment, interweaving visual appeal, entertainment, participation, and knowledge within the landscape. Unlike conventional theme parks that prioritize functionality, Tiandi Garden leads a new wave of conceptual innovation, guided by culture, extending spatial creativity, and ensuring rational functional layout. It harmonizes emotion, scenery, and meaning, aligns heaven, earth, and humanity, and sees the three zones—Astronomy, Geology, and Riverside Leisure Belt—connected through a shared cultural thread, offering boundless creativity.
