Bronze Gorge Bird Island is a national wetland park.

Guide: Bronze Gorge Bird Island is part of the Bronze Gorge Reservoir area and is named for the many birds that inhabit it. The area boasts unique natural scenery, including rivers, lakes, and forests, making it an ideal destination for sightseeing. Introduction: The bird island spans 30,000 mu, stretching over 10 kilometers from north to south and 3 kilometers from east to west. It includes more than 5,000 mu of natural forest and over 20,000 mu of Swan Lake, Central Lake, and West Lake. The western side of the bird island borders National Highway 109, while the eastern side runs along the Yellow River, integrating organically with cultural attractions such as the 108 Pagodas and the Niushou Mountain Temple Complex.

The bird island is home to over 100 species of birds, including flocks of wild ducks and nationally protected species such as white swans and egrets. The 2,500 mu of planted forest complements the 5,000-plus mu of natural woodland, while nearly 10,000 mu of Canadian alfalfa adds a fresh touch to the landscape. Bronze Gorge Bird Island is a rare scenic gem in the west, where mountains and waters blend harmoniously with birdsong and blooming flowers.
