At the southern foothills of the Helan Mountains, at Dakou, the ancient Beichakou Great Wall, bearing centuries of history, stands with rows of wind turbines rising like meteors slicing through time and space. The modern Helan Mountain wind power plant blends with the ancient beacon towers of the Great Wall to create a unique scenic view.

The Beichakou Great Wall is located on the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Qingtongxia, featuring complex terrain and steep mountain ridges. Since ancient times, it has been a vital military stronghold. The Great Wall was built along the contours of the mountains, showcasing a unique structure. It is one of the best-preserved sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall in Ningxia. Today, the Helan Mountain Wind Power Plant stands on both sides of the beacon towers.
