Yellow River Palace Wetland Park

The Yellow River Palace is located on the north bank of the Yellow River in Zhongwei City, a western city in Ningxia. Looking up, the winding, surging waters of the Yellow River resemble a golden ribbon, dancing and flowing gently from west to east across the southern part of the park. The Zhongwei area has long been known for the saying, “The Yellow River enriches Ningxia, and Zhongwei is the wealthiest,” and it is also a shining pearl in Ningxia’s “Golden Shore” urban economic belt along the Yellow River.

The main structure of the Yellow River Palace stands 36.9 meters tall. Its design is inspired by the poetic line from Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, “The waters of the Yellow River come from heaven,” capturing the essence of the river’s flow and shaping the building into the form of a water droplet. Inside the structure, there is a pedestrian observation ramp along the inner wall, with an elevator in the center and an over 80-square-meter observation deck. Beneath the droplet-shaped main building lies the Yellow River Museum.
