Qungo Zhaxi Beach
In Tibetan, it means "auspicious water source," located on the Zanarong Grassland at an altitude of over 5,200 meters in Zaduo County, Yushu Prefecture. Numerous small streams from the surrounding mountains flow down through ice-carved gullies, converging toward Qungo Zhaxi Beach in the central part of the grassland. These streams wind around more than 30 lakes of varying sizes on the beach, meandering north and south like dragons, twisting and turning, before merging with numerous springs on the beach to form the Zachu River. The grass here is exceptionally lush, making it a gathering place for rare birds and animals.
