The pile of blue-gray tiles is located in Dan Village, Jiaduo Township, Zaduo County. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is categorized as a stone carving site.

On July 13, 2018, the pile of blue-gray tiles was included in the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units of Zaduo County.

Jiaduo Township: Jiaduo Township is located in the eastern part of the county, 33 kilometers from the county seat. It has a population of 4,000, predominantly Tibetan, accounting for 99% of the total. The area covers 2,380 square kilometers and administers five pastoral committees: Zangga, Bama, Youmei, Youduo, and Da’e.
