Axia Temple

Axia Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Zaduo County.

Axia Temple is located in Chadan Township, Zaduo County. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural ruin.

On July 13, 2018, Axia Temple was included in the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units of Zaduo County.

Chadan Township: Danrong Township is located in the western part of the county, bordering the Tibet Autonomous Region to the south. It is 98 kilometers from the county seat. The population is 2,000, predominantly Tibetan, accounting for 99% of the total. The area covers 6,000 square kilometers. It administers three pastoral committees: Dagou, Qirong, and Yuoni. Established as Danrong Commune in 1971, it was restructured as Danrong Township in 1984.

Chadang Township is situated in the western part of the county, 130 kilometers from the county seat. With a population of 1,000, it is predominantly Tibetan, making up 99% of the total.
