Ningqing Nunnery is a cultural heritage site protected by Zaduo County.

Ningqing Nunnery is located in Bama Temple, Jiaduo Township, Zaduo County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural site.

On July 13, 2018, Ningqing Nunnery was included in the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units of Zaduo County.

Jiaduo Township: Jiaduo Township is located in the eastern part of the county, 33 kilometers from the county seat. It has a population of 4,000, predominantly Tibetan, accounting for 99% of the total. The area covers 2,380 square kilometers. It administers five pastoral committees: Zangga, Bama, Youmei, Youduo, and Da’e. In 1956, Jiaduo Xiao’ge (district) was established; in 1959, the Jiaduo Commune was founded; in 1963, it was restructured as Jiaduo Township; in 1971, it reverted to Jiaduo Commune; and in 1984, Jiaduo Township was re-established. … Jiaduo Township detailed information ++
